Are you ready to take your shooting skills to the next level? The BCQB Pistol 1 Qualification Course is designed to equip participants with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary for effective, safe and accurate use of a handgun.

THIS IS NOT A CPL CLASS (Our job is to make you proficient and confident with your pistol)

This intensive class covers essential topics such as introduction to handguns, firearm safety, range rules and etiquette, pistol parts and functions, basic handling and maintenance, marksmanship fundamentals and more. Participants will engage in both classroom instruction and practical, hands-on exercises that emphasize safety, accuracy, speed, and situational awareness. By the end of the course, attendees will have the confidence and proficiency needed to handle a pistol and display a solid baseline of marksmanship, laying the groundwork for more advanced training.

Class will meet at Battlefield CQB in Westland. There will be 3 hours of intensive in class instruction as well as smokeless range drills. There will be a short break with food provided. The last hour of class will take place at Firing Line where live fire drills will commence and finally you will attempt your BCQB Level 1 Pistol Qualifier. If you pass the qualifier, you will be awarded your Level 1 Pistol Certificate. If for some reason you do not pass, you are welcome to retake the qualifier portion at the next available date.

Prerequisites : NONE This class is for people who are new to pistols all the way up to people who have been shooting for a number of years and want to improve technique. This class is also open to law enforcement who wants to maintain rigorous pistol standards.

Disclaimer : This is NOT an EASY class! Instruction is very involved and you will be asked to step outside your comfort zone. You will be getting in a lot of reps. It will require focus. Once registered, you will be given a class outline and a copy of the qualifier. We highly suggest you review the outline and if possible make a few trips out to the range to get a baseline of where you are currently at with your skills.

Equipment List : 1. Your pistol (cleared with chamber flag, if you don't have a flag we have them here) 2. (2) Pistol Magazines 3. Eye and Ear Protection 4. (100) rounds of ammunition (please make sure it is correct for your pistol) 5. (HIGHLY RECCOMENDED-but not required) IFAK - Individual First Aid Kit (if you do not have, we have them for purchase)

COST is $299.00 per student and there is a strict limit of 10 students.

INCLUDED : Sandwich meal with soft drink or water, range time, paper targets.
